Repique is a platform dedicated to exploring the social sciences, culture, and the humanities in relation to contemporary societies from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Repique is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the continuous publication of two issues per year, in January and July. Approved articles must be original and unpublished in Spanish or English. Repique. Revista de Ciencias Sociales is a publication edited by the Universidad Técnica “Luis Vargas Torres" in Esmeraldas, Ecuador, through Vicerrectorado de Investigación, Vinculación y Posgrado. All articles submitted to the journal for publication are evaluated by the Editorial Committee for quality and relevance and undergo a double-blind review before publication. The journal does not charge any APC and is funded entirely by the Technical University “Luis Vargas Torres.”
