Abstract
The article International cooperation, an essential actor for local development explores the impact and importance of international cooperation in development at the local level. International cooperation, understood as collaboration between countries and organizations to achieve common objectives, is presented as a crucial factor in strengthening local capacities and promoting sustainable development. The article highlights that international cooperation offers technical, financial and logistical support to developing countries, facilitating the implementation of projects and policies that can improve the quality of life in local communities. This support comes in various forms, such as technical assistance, knowledge transfer and investment in infrastructure. One of the key points of the article is the importance of aligning cooperation projects with local needs and priorities. The effectiveness of international cooperation depends largely on the active participation of recipient communities in the planning and execution of projects. This ensures that interventions are relevant and sustainable in the long term.
