Intervención en el ámbito escolar como estrategia de prevención: revisión de la evidencia científica
Main Article Content
Abstract
Crime prevention within the school environment represents a priority, considering the association between violence, antisocial behavior, and future criminal trajectories. The objective of this study is to analyze the scientific evidence regarding preventive programs, actions, and strategies implemented in schools to prevent antisocial behavior, aggression, and juvenile delinquency. A comparative document review methodology was used, based on the synthesis of experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations, as well as meta-analyses. The findings show consensus on the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral programs, strengthening the school climate, developing social skills, and anti-bullying interventions. The studies identify isolated strategies based exclusively on recreational and informational activities as less effective. The main difference lies in the fact that the 2016 review incorporates more robust evidence regarding bullying and school violence. It is concluded that early, comprehensive, and evidence-based interventions constitute the most effective strategy for preventing antisocial behavior in school contexts.
